Humulin 70/30 :

Humulin 70/30 is the composition of 70% of Human insulin isophane suspention and 30% Human insulin injection (rDNA origin).It is an intermediate acting insulin combined with the more rapid onset of acting of Regular human insulin.

The first name of Humulin 70/30 is considerd as incorrect which was Novalog R 70/30 in Dec,1 2004.Scientist change the name for a certain reasons and named as Humulin 70/30. Humulin is a men made insulin or you can say that Artificial insulin.Insulin is present in our body if our body stop producing insulin or low the amount of production of insulin then we inject insulin in  our body for controling or lowring the high blood sugar level.

Following are the uses,dosage,over-dose,precautions,side effects and warnings are given below.

Uses of Humulin 70/30:

Regular insulin is used with proper diet and exercise to control the High Blood sugar in peoples with Diebeties.If we control High blood sugar which prevent us from kidney damage,nerve problems,loss of limbs and blindness.proper controling high blood sugar can also lessen the risk of Heart attack and stroke.

Insulin is used for peoples with 2 type diebeties or control blood sugar level.following are the uses of Glucophage medicine

·         Nerve problem

you may have low sugar (Hypoglycemia) and feel very hungry,dizzy,irretable,anxius or shaky.to quickly treat hypoglycemia ,eat or drink fast-acting drink like fruit juice,candy or other quick source of sugar.

we use insuine to reduce blood sugar level.

Dosage of Humulin 70/30:

Dosage of Humulin 70/30 is based on the indivisual metabolic need,every person have different metabolic need.Dosage can be adjust with physical activities and intake of meal properly.In physical activities you can do light cardio or go to gym and in diet you have to eat in a proper way avoid using of oil,sugar and some other things.

Type 1 Diebeties Mellitus:

For beginners dosage guideline is suggested

Ketones moderate or less:0.5Unit/kg

Ketones large:0.7Unit/kg

Generally,50-75% of total dosage is given as intermediate or long term acting insulin.

Type 2 Diebeties Mellitus:

The dosage is adjust accourding to blood Sugar level

Initial dose:0.5-1 unit/kg

Commonly 50-75% of total dosage is given as intermediate or long term acting insuline. Over-Dose of Humulin 70/30:

Over-Dose of Humulin  has not such a damgerous effects but over Dose of Humulin but don't use over dose it can be harmfull for you.Over-Dose can low the blood sugar level which cause shriveling of  body,insentient,urination problems,over dose cause trouble breathing,dizeness and some others in this condition you should transfor your patient to hospital or call the poision control centre.

In overdose low blood sugar this condition you can use diebeties medicines or intake of sugar.Intake of sugar increase blood sugar level and amount of blood sugar becomes normal.Useage of Insulin is best for controling high blood sugar level.

Precation of Humulin 70/30:

Before useing Insulin tell you medical history to the doctor or pharmacist that suggest you this medicine so you can use Insulin.

Insulincontain inactive ingredents which can cause allergie or some other desease.

Change in Insulin Regimen:

Change in insulin menufacturer,strength,method and type given by the doctor or pharmacists may effect the glycemic control and predispose to hypoglycemia.These changes should be make cautiously and the ferquency of Blood Glucose level should be increased.

Hypoglycemia:

Hypoglycemia is the most common adverse reaction accociated with insulin.Including Humulin 70/30.Some of the Hypoglemia can cause pain,life threatning and may cause death.Hymulin can harm concentration ability in reactiion time.Instruct the patients to always carefully check that they are administearing the correct insulin(e.g by checking the label before using the Humulin insulin) to avoid medication error between Humulin 70/30 and some other insulin.

Side effects of humulin 70/30:

Every medication can cause side effects.Side effect is an unwanted response to the medication when it is given to our body in normal dose.Side effects may be light or serious,prerminent or temporary.

Contain under 30 degree centegrade.At higher temperatures their is a risk that their effeciency would be adversely effected and the chemicals and components are changed in different temperature.

Pragrencey:

Avoid the use of panadol/paracetamol in the pregrency condition and if you feel nessecity you should consult with your Doctor or Phermacists.
